Overview Of Classes

Sweatshop Gym offers a wide variety of classes from beginners, intermediate and the more advanced.

Whether it's Bootcamps, High intensity interval Training, Calisthenics or Boxing, you're sure to find a fun and challenging workout that's appropriate for your level of fitness.

 

You can reserve your place up to 1 week before the class starts but ends 15 mins before start of class...
Booking on is not compulsory but there is a limit on all classes and reservations will take priority...

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

 

BOOTCAMP - Is a class containing body weight and free weights improving fitness and strength using a wide variety of different exercises. Suitable for all abilities and levels of fitness. With different formats that get rotated round on a weekly basis it makes classes fun and fresh but also give enough continuity so you can track your progression.

 

BEAST MODE - Bootcamp style with a Mixture of heavy weights, Strength & Conditioning and challenging body weight exercises, not for the faint hearted..

 

CALISTHENICS - Is a Bodyweight Strength & Conditioning Class. You will use mainly your Body weight to build huge amounts of strength with movements like handstands, muscle ups, pull ups, human flag, planches and much more.

 

HATTONS ABC BOXING - This class comes straight from the Ricky Hatton academy. Boxing combinations combined with plenty of cardio and body weight exercises will push your fitness through the roof and develop your pad work.

 

TABATA- Always working to the same format of 20 seconds work and 10 seconds rest this is a great class with endless variations. Guaranteed to keep you on your toes and gasping for breath.

 

BODY BLITZ- Is a class containing mainly Body weight and Cardio Vascular exercises with the aid of equipment including Benches / Steps, Stability balls, Rowers, TRX, Medicine balls, Light weights etc

 

FBX- Fat Burn Xtreme. Constantly varied each week and very high intensity.

 

INSANITY - This is a choreographed high intensity interval class and is a great way to burn fat and improve your fitness levels..

 

BARBELLS - Exercises using Barbells and Weights with exercises like Squats, Push Press, Deadlifts, Barbell Row, Clean & Press etc with occasional use of Kettle bells

 

X-FIT - Crossfit style class and an effective way to get fit. Anyone can do it. It is a fitness program that combines a wide variety of functional movements into a timed or scored workout. We do pull-ups, squats, push-ups, weightlifting, gymnastics, running, rowing, and a host of other movements

 

COMBAT - is an empowering Choreographed cardio workout inspired by martial arts. This fiercely energetic program draws from a variety of disciplines such as karate, boxing, taekwondo, tai chi and muay thai.
